Lil Yacthy, is a rapper, singer , and songwriter, best known for his hit single "One Night'. His real name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is popularly known as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. His mixtapes, "Summer Songs 2' and 'Lil Boat' were his first major success. It wasn't his first time as a performer. The first songs he recorded, 'One Night' (August 2015) and 'Minnesota (August 2015) are what brought him his initial recognition. These songs were part of his debut EP, Extended Play, called "Summer Songs.. He currently has music labels like 'Capital Records,'Quality Control Music' and 'Motown Records to his name. Yachty has collaborated with famous rappers like 'D.R.A.M' and "Chance the Rapper" among others. Yachty's official website also features his merchandise. Yachty's love for music was evident from an early age. He was influenced by his father, who was a musician and shared many different kinds of music. He adopted the name "Yachty" and moved from Atlanta in Georgia to New York in 2015 to pursue his dream of becoming a successful musician. He moved to New York with a friend and started looking for ways to enter the music business. In the meantime, he hung out with street fashion stars online and built up a decent following on Instagram. He also teamed up with Burberry Perry, who was a producer and beatmaker. Later, he joined forces with K$upreme, his main collaborator. They're collectively referred to as "The Saling Team" and they worked in Lil ' Yachty's bedroom. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of his hit song 'Minnesota ' was his first major success. The moment that made Lil Yachty famous came with the track "1Night". The video was uploaded on the internet and quickly went viral. He came under media spotlight when the SoundCloud version of "One Night" was used in an online meme.
